Roast Chicken with Worcestershire Sauce Marinade

We ran out of gas last Friday noon, our reserved was empty also since we forgot to refill it, we cannot buy one since all stores during that time were closed, they only opened after Friday prayer.  So what to cook for lunch? I have no plan to roast or bake any meal that day but I have no choice, therefore this recipe was only product of being disperate during that day but I was glad that it turned out good.  I used small size chicken about 700 g so that it will be quicker to marinate, in as much only 3 persons were eating it on the first place.  I used to marinate whole chicken overnight but this one was an exemption since it was out of plan to cook it that day.

Ingredients:
1 whole chicken, cleaned and pat dried
1 large onion
2 tbsp. butter

Marinade:
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup vinegar
¾ cup soy sauce
¼ tsp. black pepper powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
3 pcs. Bay leaves
4 cloves garlic, crushed

Directions:

1. Combine marinade in a medium bowl, marinate chicken in the fridge for at least 3 hours. Turn chicken once for even absorption of marinade. Drain. Take out the bay leaves and garlic from the marinade, set aside.

2. Pre-heat oven to 350 degree F ( I used Turbo Cooker.). Stuff chicken with onion, bay leaves and garlic from marinade.

3. Bake in oven for one and half hour or Turbo cooker for one hour.

4. Brush chicken with butter and bake for 5 minutes.
