Ground Beef with Oyster Sauce

We ran out of stock last night since the weather in Kuwait was so dusty so we just stayed at home and we did not able to buy our groceries, we had only ground beef, canned goods and frozen vegetables. I want to cook spaghetti but some of the ingredients were not also available 😦 , so what I did was to combine the canned and frozen ingredients and made this dish, I just served it with fried rice and some fish leftovers from our lunch. I thought we won’t be able to have scrumptious dinner but I was wrong, the oyster sauce in the ground beef made it.

200 g ground beef
2 tbsp. light soy sauce
1 medium onion, sliced thinly
2 tbsp. crushed ginger
½ cup mushrooms, sliced
1/3 cup corn kernel
1 small green bell pepper, chopped
3 tbsp. oyster sauce
1/3 tsp. black pepper powder
3 tbsp. cooking oil
2 boiled eggs fro garnish (optional)

1. Mix ground beef and light soy sauce, set aside for 10 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a pan, sauté onion and ginger until aromatic, then add ground beef, cook and stir until color changes.
3. Stir in vegetables and cook for 2 minutes.
4. Turn off heat and stir in the oyster sauce.
5. Garnish with slices of hard boiled eggs.
