Fried Fish with Honey and Oyster Sauce

This is just and experimentation again but turned out good. The combination of honey and oyster sauce were really tempting!


4 pcs. Fish Fillets

1 medium onion, quartered

1 medium green bell pepper, strips

1 medium red bell pepper, strips

1 medium carrots, thinly sliced

2 tbsp. honey

3 tbsp. oyster sauce

Liquid seasoning

1 tbsp. cornstarch dissolve in ¾ cup cold water

Salt and pepper to taste

Oil to fry the fish



1. Heat oil in a pan, fry the fish fillets until golden brown, both sides.  Transfer to a dish and set aside.

2. In a small bowl, combine cornstarch solution with honey, oyster sauce and liquid seasoning. Set aside.

3.  Take out some of the oil from the pan, leave just about 1 tbsp., add onions on it and carrots. Stir fry until the carrots are half done.

4. Add the bell peppers, stir for 1 minute or until soft.

5. Add the cornstarch and honey mixture to the pan. Lower the heat and simmer until thickens. Season with salt and pepper.

6. Pour the sauce over the fried fish. Serve.
