This is one of the recipes that I prepared on Eid holidays, so yummy that even the bones were eaten by my guest! lol
The secret here was the way to prepare the spices, not just mere slicing or cutting but pounding it using mortar and pestle so that it will absorb well.

Ingredients:
1 whole Bangus (milkfish),
juice of 1 lemon
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tsp. chili sauce
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 stalks green onions, cut into 1 inch length
2 thumbnail size ginger
1/4 tsp. black pepper powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Directions:
1. Remove the fish scale. Cut the fish lengthwise along the back, trying not to damage the skin. Remove the large bones. Place the fish in a shallow dish or marinating container.
2. In a shallow dish, combine lemon juice, soy sauce, chili sauce and olive oil. Marinate fish for at least 2 hours. Turn the fish over once to marinate the other side as well. Drain. Reserve the marinade.
3. In a small mortar, combine green onions and ginger together, pound until ginger are evenly crushed with the green onions.
4. Spread the pounded spices evenly over the marinated fish, sprinkle with black pepper and salt.
5. Place the fish inside the preheated 250 degrees C oven or Turbo and grill for 30 minutes brushing with the marinade from time to time to keep it moist.
