This one of the easiest way to cook shrimps, it’s been a long time that I wanted to try this dish but since the basic recipe calls for wine, I cannot find a good substitute for it. Thanks God, I found one yesterday.

Ingredients:
15-20 pcs. medium shrimps, peeled leaving the tails on
3 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 stalks green onion, chopped
1/3 cup wine substitute (Juice of 1 lemon, ½ tsp. sugar, ¼ cup chicken stock)
Salt to taste
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
Red pepper flakes
Few slices of lemon for garnish
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Saute garlic for 30 seconds, then add green onions, sauté for another 30 seconds.
2. Add shrimps, cook until color changes then add wine substitute. Cook for 3 minutes, season with salt. Turn off heat.
3. Add parsley and pepper flakes, stir. Transfer to a plate and garnish with lemon slices. Serve over pasta or rice, or eat as it is!
